Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes, advance reservations are highly recommended; our tours do sell out. You do not pay in advance with Destin Snorkel; we only take a credit card on file to hold your seats. We do not charge your card for payment unless you don’t show up for your tour. You will actually pay upon check-in for your trip.
How do I make a reservation?
Making a reservation has never been easier. You can book online or call give us at (850) 269-2329.
What if I need to cancel?
If your plans change, please give us a call to cancel your reservation so we may open up the seat for another guest. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour the credit card on file will be charged in full.
What if it rains or the weather turns?
If we need to cancel the tour due to weather, we will contact you with as much advance notice as we are able. Typically light rain does not cancel a tour, we have canopies to keep you dry. In the event of inclement weather during a tour, rain checks will be available for a future tour. Destin Snorkel rain checks do not expire.
Do I need to bring a life jacket?
Our fleet is Coast Guard approved; we have safety life jackets aboard all of our vessels. We do have a limited number of life jackets for guests to use, but if your children have a life jacket they prefer, you are more than welcome to bring it.
What do I need to bring?
We provide all of the equipment needed for your snorkel or SNUBA tour. Every tour also includes complimentary bottled water. You are welcome to bring a cooler with food, snacks, or any other beverages (no glass please). For day tours, be sure to have on your bathing suit and bring a beach towel and sunscreen.
What time should I arrive?
Check-in for all of our trips is 1 hour prior to departure.
What are the requirements to do SNUBA?
- You must be at least 8 years of age or older
- You must be in good health or cleared by a physician to dive (you are required to complete and sign a brief Participant Record & Liability Release Form) Download our SNUBA® waiver.
- You must have basic swimming skills and be comfortable in the water
Should we tip?
Our crew works very hard to make your tour an enjoyable memory on your vacation. Hospitality standards of 20% gratuity is greatly appreciated. If you have a party of 10 or more, there is a 10% service fee charge that goes to the crew.
Can we bring alcohol?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a cooler with alcohol (no glass please).
Is there a restroom on the boat?
Yes, all of our vessels have a restroom on the boat.
Can we bring a stroller?
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring a stroller onboard.
Where are you located?
Destin Snorkel is in Harborwalk Village, at the foot of the Destin Bridge. Our booth is located at the base of the Emerald Grande Hotel, just west of Margaritaville.
Where do I park?
Harborwalk Village charges $10 per vehicle to park. The city of Destin also has pay-to-park lots behind the Community Center, across the street from Harborwalk Village. Be sure to allow for traffic and parking challenges in Destin, you don’t want to ‘miss the boat’.
Are your boats wheelchair accessible?
We have wheelchair accessible boats; please let us know when you are making your reservation so we can be sure to accommodate.
Do you offer a Military Discount?
First and foremost, thank you for your service!!! Yes, we have VIP discounts for military families; active, past, and retired. We truly appreciate you, please let us know when you make your reservation or at check-in if you are military.
